VadakkumnathanTemple
Vadakkumnathan temple is one of the oldest temple in Kerala with Kerala style architecture and many decorative murals and arts. This is the place where the world famous Thrissur Pooram festival is celebrated annually in April - May.
Triprayar Sree Rama Temple is the only Rama temple which has a river adjacent to it. The Triprayar Ekadasi festival is in the month of Nov-Dec is a great celebration along with Guruvayoor Ekadasi. The temple is rich in wood carvings and architecture.
