Vidya Gopala Mantrarchana is held once a year at Vazhappully Sree Rajarajeswari temple to improve the knowledge of students. Havana (Homam) is done to bring the presense of Lord Vishnu. Later on the students will chant the "Vidya Gopala mantram" 108 times and do the archana by themselves.
Vidya Gopala Mantrarchana will help to remove the obstatcle caused by the moon which usually blocks kids understanding while learning.
Kids are given a thread with 8 "pavithra" knots after energising it for 21 days by doing puja in front of Bhagavathi.
Along with the prasadam, kids will be given a "Sree Rajarajeswari Devi Pen" for wrting the exam.
